About Our Bows

Our hair accessories are handmade to order to your specifications. We use only the highest quality ribbon and hardware in the construction of our products, and we heat-seal all ribbon ends to prevent fraying.

Our Tuxedo Bows & Sweet Petite Bows...Our Classic Tuxedo & Sweet Petite Bows are machine-stitched down the middle to keep each beautiful layer firmly in place. After construction, the bows are hand-stitched to the clip or barrette of your choice, another step to ensure your investment stands the test of time!

Our Boutique Bows...Our Classic Boutique Bows are hand-sewn, and a hand-tied knot is added to the center of the bow. After construction, our Boutique Bows are hand-stitched to the clip or barrette of your choice! Finally, we spritz each bow with a touch of stiffener, in order to keep its gorgeous shape while on its way to you! Ours are made to last!

Our Ponytail Streamers...We use 7 ribbons in the contstruction of our streamers, giving them a full, flowing appearance. All ribbons are machine sewn together at the knot area, to prevent being pulled apart. A high-quality pontail elastic is glued AND handsewn to the center of the ribbons. Finally a hand tied knot is glued to the ribbons and sewn around the ponytail elastic! There's no pulling these apart!

Our Headbands...Our Ribbon-Wrapped Headbands are meticulously wrapped in 3/8" grosgrain. Our Covered Headbands are fashioned using a strip of 7/8" grosgrain that is sewn together, slipped over the plastic band, and hand stitched to secure the band in place. This completely conceals the plastic band, and gives our headbands a professional, finished look. The best part is, our headbands won't slip! We adhere a strip of velcro to the underside, keeping your headband in place even in fine hair!

About Our Clips & Elastics

Our Clips...Our clips are lined in matching grosgrain ribbon, giving them a professional finish. Our French Barrettes are the finest available...Made in France, they are a one-piece welded barrette, made of a heavier, sturdier metal. While they are a bit more expensive, they are truly worth it! Other clips may be called a 'French Barrette', but unless they are stamped "Made in France", they are only a flimsy immitation! We offer our French Barrettes in 2 sizes: 2 3/8" and 3", which can be used on Tuxedo, Sweet Petite, and Boutique Bows. We offer our rectangular snap clips in 2 sizes: 1 1/2" and 2", which can be used on our Tuxedo and Sweet Petite Bows. A pinch (alligator style) clip is also available on our Boutique Bows.

Our Elastics...We use a sturdy, heavier quality ponytail elastic that does not stretch or pull apart after only a few uses. These elastics work well for the girl with a full head of hair. A smaller size elastic is also available for finer hair, and is a perfect choice for toddlers!
